A meeting between the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) parliamentary group and Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa has been canceled.
The meeting was scheduled to take place at the official residence of former President Maithripala Sirisena on Paget Road on 25th afternoon.
However, due to the non-attendance of the SLFP parliamentary group for the discussion, it has been canceled.
The agreement to give Yugadanavi power plants to the United States was to be discussed at the meeting.
The idea of the SLFP MPs is to have a discussion with the President after the discussion with the Prime Minister. The party recently announced its opposition to the Ecumenical Power Agreement
