Minister Namal Rajapaksa introduced the Internationally Recognized Covid Vaccine Digital Certificate (Smart Digital Vaccine Certificate) for the people of Sri Lanka who have received both doses of the Covid 19 vaccine at the Ministry of Health.

Accordingly, the Minister presented the first Covid injection digital card to Kapila Jeewantha, Secretary of the Sri Lanka Gymnastics Association, on behalf of the Sri Lankan team leaving for the Tokyo Olympics in Japan this month as the first phase.

Application for this internationally recognized Covid Vaccination Digital Card (Smart Digital Vaccine Certificate) prepared by the Ministry of Health and the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) under the State Ministry of Digital Technology and Entrepreneurship Development Sri Lankans will soon be able to download it from the Ministry of Health website.

This vaccination digital card contains the name, age, identity card number, date of vaccination, type of vaccine and batch number of the person who received the vaccine.

This Covid Vaccination Digital Card is issued by the Government of Sri Lanka and its uniqueness lies in its ability to verify the accuracy from anywhere in the world through QR .
