Wanidu Hasaranga is likely to play in the IPL this year

Several Indian Premier League (IPL) teams have shown interest to sign contracts with Sri Lanka all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga to be part of the IPL 2021.

The IPL 2021 is scheduled for September and was previously suspended indefinitely due to a increase in COVID-19 case India in May.

It has been scheduled to held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) starting on19th while the final will be sheduled to held on October 15.

According to the reports least four IPL teams has been approached to Wanindu Hasaranga to take him as a replacement player for the IPL 2021.

IPL teams can sign replacements for players who will not travel to Dubai for the tournament in September and Wanindu is likely to play permit him if Sri Lanka authorities give him permission to play.
