A group of Russian Tourists will visit Sri Lanka on August 1st- Udayanga Weeratunga

Former Sri Lankan Ambassador to Russia Udayanga Weeratunga says that a flight carrying Russian tourists will arrive in Sri Lanka on the 1st of August.

He added that in the future, Sri Lankan Airlines flights will be flown to Moscow every week to pick up Russian tourists and the government is preparing to bring in a thousand Russian tourists a month from September.

He added that the Russian people did not like the vaccine and that they believed that they had been infected with the virus and had developed antibodies.

This was stated at a discussion held at the Ministry of Mass Media and Information.
