President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has stated that the economy will not be able to move forward unless the country is opened soon.

He said that the people of this country will be able to be adequately vaccinated and then the country will be able to reopen, by next September.

He added that the country will receive around 9 million doses of vaccines this month.

He stated this while addressing a meeting held at the Presidential Secretariat.
