Minister Namal Rajapaksa welcomed the Foreign Minister and his delegation who arrived in Sri Lanka on a two-day official visit.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is scheduled to attend several inaugurations in the port city today. He is also scheduled to meet with some of the country’s top officials.
Meanwhile, the 65th anniversary of Sino-Sri Lankan diplomatic relations will be commemorated here.
It is reported that the Chinese Foreign Minister will present a number of investment proposals during his visit to Sri Lanka.
