Sri Lanka’s food inflation rise to 22%, 4th in Asia, 12th in the world


Sri Lanka’s food inflation rose to 22.1% in December 2021.

This is stated in the latest report issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. At the same time, Sri Lanka ranks fourth in Asia and first in South Asia in terms of food inflation.

 Sri Lanka is ranked 12th in the world in terms of food inflation.
