It is reported that Thushara Jayasinghe, the Chairman of Litro Gas Company will resign from his post. It is also stated that he is preparing to go abroad after resigning.

He has also been widely accused by the ruling party of continuing to evade the media over the quality of domestic gas in Sri Lanka.

 Minister Johnston Fernando has publicly stated that he should resign if he is unable to face the questionable circumstances.
