Princess Marko who rejected royal pleasures for love emigrated to America

The Japanese princess left the royal pleasures for love and married an ordinary man. She lost her royal status after marrying a commoner. Princess Mako, the granddaughter of Emperor Akihito of Japan, who married in defiance of the royal family, and Kei Komuro have emigrated to the United States.

The couple left Haneda Airport in Tokyo on Sunday morning and are set to rent an apartment in New York, according to foreign media reports.

According to Japanese tradition, a woman from the Japanese royal family becomes an ordinary citizen after marrying an ordinary man.

They will then receive $ 1.3 million, which Mako also declined recently. She was the first female member of the royal family to reject the royal family and money.

In 2005, for the first time in Japanese history, a Japanese royal princess was married to an ordinary citizen. It’s Princess Sayako, Princess Mako’s aunt.
