US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Ms Alina B. Teplitz has met with President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
The President appreciated Ms. Alina’s support for enhancing cooperation between the two countries, the Presidential Media Unit said.
The President also expressed his gratitude to the US Government for its assistance to Sri Lanka in the process of vaccination and supply of medical equipment to control the covid epidemic.
It is reported that the Ambassador expressed her satisfaction over the progress made by Sri Lanka in the vaccination and anti-covid process and thanked the President and the Government for their support in facilitating their duties.
