A conspiracy build up against Sri Lanka through BBC anf Al Jazeera – Mahindananda Aluthgamage

Agriculture Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage says international media reports such as the BBC and Al Jazeera report that Sri Lanka is facing a food crisis are a conspiracy.

He said in Parliament that there was no such food crisis in the country yesterday.

The Minister said that the country today is not in a food crisis but a mafia and that a special program is being implemented on the instructions of the President to control the mafia and that the state of emergency was imposed for that purpose.

He said that the imposition of the state of emergency was not a new thing and pointed out that the state of emergency was imposed during the Kolonnawa landfill collapse during the last government.
