Sri Lanka People’s Front (SLPP) MP Sahan Pradeep says that many people who make statements to the media regarding the price of sugar are taking medication for diabetes.
He says that in order to protect the youth and children of this country, the consumption of sugar should be reduced.
However, he added that there was a problem with the increase in sugar prices.
He said this while he was speaking to the media in Gampaha.
