Ministers of the party have decided to request
Former Minister Basil Rajapaksa, the organizer of the Sri Lanka People’s Front, to return to Parliament as soon as possible.

The decision was taken at a special discussion held at the residence of MP Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon yesterday afternoon.

However, MP Tissa Kuttiarachchi stated that there was no discussion to request Basil Rajapaksa to intervene in reducing fuel prices or commodity prices.
