Another ship caught fire near Sri Lanka, East seas in the country danger

Another ship has caught fire near Sri Lanka. According to the Navy, the fire broke out on a container ship travelling 480 nautical miles east of the Kirinda Maha Rawana lighthouse.

The Navy said that the fire had started in the engine room of the Liberian flagged cargo ship

The ship was on its way to Singapore from the Port of Colombo when it caught fire near the Straits of Malacca.

The Navy said that it had informed the ships passing by requested their assistance to extinguish the fire.

The foreign media reports that the relevant ship named M.SC Messina had caught fire last night (June 24).
