Queen Elizabeth II’s husband, Prince Philip, has died aged 99 today morning, Buckingham Palace has announced.
“It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.” Buckingham Palace said. BBC
Prince Philip and the Queen had four children, eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Many people including Britain prime minister Boris Johnson conveyed their sadness.
