Russia-Sri Lanka relationship -Russia took immediate action and sent two representatives of Russian fuel companies to Sri Lanka

Two representatives of Russian fuel companies have come to Sri Lanka for negotiations to import fuel from Russia to Sri Lanka.

 President Gotabaya Rajapaksa called on Russian President Vladimir Putin and requested him to provide fuel to Sri Lanka on a concessional basis.
