The All Ceylon Restaurant Owners’ Association states that if a solution to the egg problem is not given immediately, all the hotels in Sri Lanka will collapse within three days.
Due to this, the government should immediately intervene and discuss with the egg producers to solve the problem, said Mr. Asela Sampath, the president of the association.
He said that if this is not the case, many people who make their living related to eggs will lose their jobs and the protein needs of the people of the country will also be destroyed.
