Tom Moody leaves Sri Lanka Cricket board

The Cricket board says that Tom Moody has agreed to withdraw from the contract related to the position of Sri Lanka Cricket Director.

In a statement issued by the Cricket Institute, it is stated that after a discussion with the Australian national Mr. Tom Moody, it has been decided that his services are no longer needed.

 Mr. Tom Moody was appointed as the Director of Sri Lanka Cricket for a period of 3 years from March 01, 2021 onn the recommendation of the Technical Advisory Committee of the Sri Lanka Cricket board.

At the time of the appointment, Sri Lanka Cricket said that Mr. Tom Moody’s role will include planning future match tours, focusing on the structure of domestic matches, player welfare and education.
