The International Monetary Fund officially announces that it has reached a working group level agreement with Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, Sri Lanka will receive a comprehensive credit facility of 2.9 billion dollars under a program for 48 months, the announcement further states.

Before granting this credit facility, the creditors should be discussed and agreed upon.
