The Hindustan Times had reported today that the Chinese satellite and ballistic missile tracking ship Yuan Wang 5, which left Hambantota port on August 22, was currently mapping the ocean floor 400 nautical miles south-southeast of Deundara Point on the southern tip of Sri Lanka.
After leaving Sri Lanka, the Chinese hi-tech ship was scheduled to sail to Jiangyin Port in Shanghai, China.
However, it is uncertain whether the ship will stop at another port on its way back to China, reports The Hindustan Times.
