Another discussion will be held next Wednesday between the representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and high-ranking representatives of Sri Lanka.

That is with the aim of finding solutions to the country’s financial crisis

 A discussion between representatives of the International Monetary Fund and Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe was held yesterday (26) through Zoom technology.

According to the request made by the representatives of the International Monetary Fund to provide additional information necessary for these discussions regarding the Electricity Amendment, Excise Act and the Treasury, it has been agreed to provide the relevant information next Monday.

 Financial advisers and legal advisers of the International Monetary Fund have joined this discussion.

On the 24th, representatives of the International Monetary Fund met with President Ranil Wickremesinghe and held discussions.
