The epidemiology unit of the Ministry of Health says that the number of corona deaths reported in Sri Lanka is increasing.

 Its chief epidemiologist, Dr Samitha Ginige, said that the disease can be controlled by getting vaccinated those who are not currently vaccinated.

The highest number of people who died were people over the age of 60. Meanwhile, by yesterday (22), 06 more people have died due to corona infection.

04 of them are women. 03 of the dead people were 60 years or older. The other three are two men and a woman aged between 30 and 59 years.

 Meanwhile, 103 people infected with Corona were identified yesterday (22). Accordingly, the total number of infected people in Sri Lanka is 669,136.
