Due to the lack of fuel-filling facilities and revenue generation problems, 7 foreign airlines have reduced the number of flights to Sri Lanka from 108 to 52 in a week by 56 flights.
It is reported that 5 airlines have reduced the number of flights and 02 airlines have even stopped coming to Sri Lanka.
Emirates, Qatar Airways, Etihad, Oman, and Air India have reduced the number of flights to Sri Lanka and Saudi Air and Kuwait Airways have suspended their flights to Sri Lanka.
