Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) Leader Anura Dissanayake stated that the import of oil from Sri Lanka has come to a complete halt.
He said that the fuel tankers that were scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka on the 23rd had not yet arrived in Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, the whole country is on the verge of stopping today, he added.
He said this while he was addressing the Jaffna District Convention of the National People’s Force.
