Dr Rani Jayamaha, a former member of the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, said that the other members of the Monetary Board did not care. She made the revelation while addressing the COPE Committee in Parliament recently.
The Central Bank has been accused of destroying about $ 5.5 billion in foreign reserves to keep the rupee stable at 203.
