The unloading of the paid petrol tanker begins – Petroleum Corporation

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) says that the unloading of the tanker will begin today (20).

Its chairman, Sumith Wijesinghe, said it had 37,000 metric tons of petrol. Meanwhile, I. O.C.

The Chairman further stated that the unloading of stocks from a petrol vessel ordered by the Company commenced last night (19). He said the corporation plans to start distribution of petrol soon.

Meanwhile, the landing of diesel on the diesel ship that arrived in Sri Lanka has been completed.

The Chairman also stated that the distribution of diesel will continue. Meanwhile, long queues for petrol and other fuels can be seen in many parts of the island. Petrol was not issued at most filling stations.
