A hotel on the top of Gongala hill on the Sinharaja border has been set on fire.

But many public had strongly against this action as its damaging to the countrys economy ana tourist attractions.

The hotel was reportedly owned by Yoshitha Rajapaksa, the son of former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

However, Yoshitha Rajapaksa has denied allegations that the hotel is his. The arson was carried out by a group of protesters amid unrest in the country.
