The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka has permitted the CEB to cut off electricity according to this schedule.

 Zones A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L – 8.30 am to 5.30 pm 3 hours and 20 minutes

1 hour and 40 minutes between 6 pm and 11 pm Z, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W zones

3 hours between 9 am and 6 pm 1 hour and 40 minutes between 6 pm and 9 pm

Sunday the 27th

Zones A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L. 8.30 am to 5.30 pm 2 hours and 15 minutes 5.15pm to 10.30pm 1 hour 15 minutes

Z, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W zones 2pm from 5pm to 11pm
