Sri Lanka going to buy crude oil from Russia at a low price

The Russian government has decided to supply crude oil to Sri Lanka and India at very low prices.

Top government sources said talks were underway to obtain crude oil from Russia.

Western sanctions imposed on Russia to obtain crude oil will not affect Sri Lanka and since these are not UN agencies, Sri Lanka will be able to obtain oil from Russia.

The Indian government has also decided to buy oil from Russia, which, as Russia’s allies, supplies crude oil to Sri Lanka and India at less than the rising market prices. .

Russia has agreed to supply a crude oil tanker to Sri Lanka. Russia was the oil supplier to Sri Lanka after the Shell Company left Sri Lanka years ago.

The government will be able to reduce the price of oil in Sri Lanka by supplying cheap oil from Russia.
