Sri Lankan Cricket Team is facing serious difficulties to select a team to play today as their list of covid 19 patients is getting increased

Sri Lanka, who are trying to claim a respectable defeat by ending the T20 series 3-2 against Australia, are currently facing serious difficulties as their list of covid 19 patients is getting increased

Sri Lanka, who have already lost the series 3-0, will enter the fourth match in Melbourne today (18) hoping to win their title. The match is scheduled to start at 1.40 pm Sri Lanka time.

However, several bowlers have been diagnosed with covid 19 and various injuries. Due to the continued failure of some batsmen, the Sri Lankan team is facing difficulties in selecting a team that can play against the Australians.

Spinner Wanindu Hasaranga and left-arm fast bowler Binura Fernando, who are currently out of the squad due to the covid virus infection, have been ruled out of today’s match.

In the third match, left-arm fast bowler Nuwan Thushara and right-arm all-rounder Ramesh Mendis missed the rest of the tournament due to a hamstring injury.
