The Pope has expressed his full support for the struggle of the Sri Lanka Catholic Church for justice for the victims of the Easter Sunday attack.

Regarding the government’s investigation into the Easter Sunday attack, Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith has conveyed his concerns to the Pope.

Father Syril Gamini also suggests that the CID should question former Attorney General Dappula de Livera’s statement that there was a conspiracy behind the Easter Sunday Attack .

He also said that the Catholic Church needs to implement all the recommendations made by the Presidential Commission to Investigate the Easter Sunday attack.

He has also stated that he will not hesitate to take the issue to the international community if justice for the victims is further delayed.
