Paul Fabregas has refused to take over as the head coach of the Sri Lanka cricket team, foreign media reported.

According to reports, Fabregas has made the decision to stay with the Warriorshire County team. With the end of Mickey Arthur’s coaching tenure on December 6 last year, Sri Lanka Cricket has received more than 30 applications for a new coach.

However, the officials of Sri Lanka Cricket did not approve of any of the applicants.   But Fabregas had informed its management that it would remain in Warwickshire.

Paul Fabrice, the 54 – year – old former head coach of the Sri Lankan team, help the team to win the 2014 Twenty20 World Cup.
