Former Malian President Ibrahim Bubakar Kita has died.

Foreign media have reported that the former president has died at his home in the capital Bamako.

Ibrahim Bubakar had a stroke two years ago, but it is unknown at this time what caused the deaths.

 Ibrahim Bubakar was 76 years old at the time of his death.
