Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal says the country’s economy is better off than it was a few months ago.

 He added that the country’s economy is already improving.

He said that the tourism sector is gradually recovering and good progress is being made in other sectors as well.

He said this while he was addressing the media when he visited Kandy to meet the Malwatta and Asgiriya nahimi.
