Sri Lankan killed in Seychelles

Seychelles police are investigating the murder of a Sri Lankan man.

Foreign media have reported that investigations are underway into the murder of a 47 – year – old Sri Lankan man who worked for a construction company on the Seychelles’ Ladigu Island.

 The Sri Lankan man was found dead at his home on December 10 by the Sri Lankan police.

An official of the company had gone to the house where the person was staying and informed the police that he had fallen in his room as he had not reported to work for several days.

The police later revealed that the man had died and a subsequent autopsy revealed that he had been strangled to death.

According to foreign media reports, the police have launched an investigation into the murder of the Sri Lankan and so far no suspect has been identified.
