Food inflation in Sri Lanka has risen ahead of Somalia

Food inflation in Sri Lanka has risen to 17.5%, according to the tradingeconomics website. It is ranked 16th in the world and 6th in the Asian region.

Sri Lanka tops the list, even ahead of Afghanistan, Somalia, Haiti and Nigeria.

This calculation is based on last month’s inflation of 9.9% and this time without updating to the Central Bank’s inflation rate of 11.1%.
