Government has decided to give Islands and oil tanks in the North to India for a package of food, medicine and fuel

Opposition leader Lakshman Kiriella has said that India is preparing to exchange $ 1.4 billion for food, medicine, fuel and oil tanks and that talks are underway in the North.

“According to reports, talks are underway with India to exchange $ 1.4 billion for food, medicine, fuel and US $ 1.4 billion. These are likely to be received. But what are the promises of our government? We hear that oil tanks are being talked about in the North. Because no one gives money for free”, he said

He was addressing a media briefing at the office of the Leader of the Opposition.
