The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) says that overseas workers will be paid an extra 10 rupees for every dollar they send to Sri Lanka during the month of December through formal money transfer systems, including local banks.

The Central Bank has also announced other benefits for foreign remittances sent through formal official money transfer systems.
