Sri Lanka Cricket captain Dasun Shanaka says his hopes of reaching the semi-finals of this year’s World Twenty20 have been dashed due to the low level of experience of his team’s players.

The team arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake this morning (06).

Dasun Shanaka stated this while expressing his views to the media. “I think we were a team that could have gone ahead in the tournament. We could not come because of lack of experience. All our players have good potential. We look forward to going forward.”
