Film and teledrama actress Visakha Siriwardena has passed away. A spokesman for the Kurunegala Teaching Hospital stated that she had died yesterday (23) while being treated for cancer.
She was 64 years old at the time of her death. Visakha Siriwardena, who entered the film industry in 1982, is also known as the tallest actress in the country.
She has acted in more than 30 films such as Anuradha, Suraduthiyo, Randamwel and Sandamadala.
