Sri Lanka People’s Front (SLPP) MP Sanjeewa Edirimanne says that the government has not allowed the people to feel the shock of the rising cost of living in the midst of the corona pandemic.

However, this does not mean that the people have received all the consolation, he said.

 However, he said that the government had intervened to reduce the pressure. He added that the year 2022 will be an economically promising year.

He said this while he was addressing a press conference at his residence.
