Udaya Gammanpila, Minister of Energy has informed Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa that a continuous supply of fuel can only be guaranteed for the next two months.

Therefore, he has requested the Minister of Finance to find a solution to the fuel price crisis Energy Minister Gammanpila has stated that the CPC will face financial difficulties in importing fuel if no solution is found.

He also said that a continuous supply of fuel can be guaranteed only until next January and  pointed out that a tax relief or price revision for imports could be the solution to these problems.
