The Kerawalapitiya Yugadanavi power plant will not be sold, said the General Secretary of the Sri Lanka People’s Front, Parliamentarian Sagara Kariyawasam.
He also said that it has been proposed to lease the power plant for a period of 15 years only.
He said that during the discussion with the Prime Minister regarding the signing of the agreement, no party in the government had objected and only presented facts.
He further said that all of them understood that this agreement was a good thing for the country and it is an investment that any country in the world would cherish.
