Thushan Gunawardena, who has resigned as the Executive Director of the Consumer Affairs Authority, said that he was ready to meet the President soon after his return to Sri Lanka to present information on the Sathosa corruption scandals.
He said that he was currently preparing all the relevant documents.
He pointed out that after submitting a written statement to the President on the corruption scandal, all relevant activities would be completed and it would then be the duty of the authorities to take the necessary legal action regarding the fraud.
He added that he had previously met with the Attorney General on the gas issue and had raised objections from the authorities.
