China’s media report that China is successfully achieving its anti-covid vaccination target.

1.1 billion or 78% of the country’s total population has already been vaccinated. The total number of vaccines administered in the country so far is 2.17 billion.

Authorities in Xiamen, Fujian Province, China, have identified a group of covids that originated outside the city, and tests of the genetic sequence of viral infections have shown that the Delta covid genus is spreading.
