The operation to supply vaccines to Sri Lanka had been successfully completed- The Chinese Ambassador in Colombo

Health officials say there has been a clear decline in the number of corona infections and corona deaths.

They also say that the number of people being treated in hospitals for corona infections is much lower than in the past.

Doctors believe that the restrictions on travel as well as vaccinations and the safety of the people have led to a decrease in the number of patients.

The Deputy Director of the Colombo National Hospital states that out of about 600 patients who have been treated for corona in the past, there are currently about 150 infected.

Meanwhile, the Chinese Embassy in Colombo said in a statement that the operation to supply vaccines to Sri Lanka had been successfully completed.

The Chinese Ambassador in Colombo has stated on his Twitter account that 26 million Chinese vaccines have been delivered to Sri Lanka.
