The decision on whether or not to lift the current curfew and travel restrictions is due today.

The decision will be taken at the Corona Suppression Task Force chaired by the President.

However, the Director General of Health Services states that strict health guidelines should be formulated to be implemented after the country is opened.

Meanwhile, several medical associations, including the Sri Lanka Medical Association, have called for the travel restrictions to be implemented for another week or two.
