Foreign investors are selling their shares in the Colombo Stock Exchange fast rate.

The shares they have sold so far this year are worth over Rs. 41 billion.

 It is approximately US $ 200 million.

Stock market analysts say that foreigners are selling their shares due to declining foreign exchange reserves, rupee instability, delays in selling revenue and large government intervention.
