The country’s economy has collapsed in three ways, says Trade Minister Bandula Gunawardena.
He says the fiscal crisis as well as the shortage of foreign reserves have hit hard.
He also pointed out that if Sri Lanka does not produce and export exports, people will die without foreign exchange, without food and medicine.
He said prices would go up uncontrollably as the country closed down, and urged people not to blame their parents for such incidents.
He made these comments during a program on Derana TV.
