Police have drawn attention to a note written on the wall of the small room where the minor girl who was killed in a fire stayed in the house of MP Rishad Bathiudeens residence.

 It had the Tamil word ’cause of death’ written in English letters. CID officials are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.

Police are investigating whether the sentence was written by the girl or to mislead investigations after the girl was burnt to death.

 Accordingly, the Government Analyst’s Department has been summoned and further investigations are being carried out.
